November 2024: Graduate Student Paper Competition:

We are delighted to inform you that our AATCC NED Chapter Member Mr. Hassan Khatri achieved 3rd position in the globally recognized Herman and Myrtle Goldstein Graduate Student Paper Competition which was held at AATCC Head Office, Raleigh, North Carolina USA on 12-11-2024.

Its an honour for the Textile Engineering Department AATCC NED Chapter and AATCC Pakistan Section given its the first time any Pakistani student participated in this competition and won the award.

       

November 2024: Study Visit - Ordinance College:

A delegation from the Ordinance College visited the Department to get acquainted with the quality control and assurance techniques

      

October 2024: Donation for Upgradation of Machines:

We are pleased to announce that a donation of USD 3000 was received from Mr. Khurshid Hoda (Chairman - NEDEA Chicago) for Upgradation of Machines.

October 2024: Guest Lecture on Advanced Yarn Spinning Techniques:

A Guest Lecture on the topic above was arranged by Dr. Sabeen Jahanzaib (Class Advisor FS). The Speaker Mr. Faisal Fareed from Gul Ahmed Textiles shared valuable experiences and insight with the students.

     

May 2024: Guest Lecture on Sustainable Denim Manufacturing:

A Guest Lecture on the topic "SUSTAINABLE DENIM PROCESSING" was held for the students. We are obliged and grateful to Mr. Tufail Rajwani from RAJBY GARMENTS for being the valued presenter. We highly anticipate and look forward to continued collaboration on similar opportunities and projects in the future.
